This was an excellent story about a woman who forges documents to help children escape the Nazis. My only complaint was that some of the character's had exaggerated traits - 100% perfect or 100% awful. However the story was so good that it seems very picky to mention it. It certainly didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book. This was an excellent story about a woman who forges documents to help children escape the Nazis. This is one of the better vegan cook books I have seen. I have tried many of the recipes and they have all been manageable to make and tasted great. I was very grateful to be able to try this book through the library but I liked it so much I think I will purchase my own copy. This is one of the better vegan cook books I have seen. This book might appeal to you if you liked The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney. It is a heavier story than the playful cover would suggest. It's worth reading as long as you aren't expecting a light beach read, which it's not.

This was maybe too much of a good thing. I liked it. It was funny and charming but it didn't meet my expectation set by The Rosie Project. Still a good read though.

In my opinion there are better books out there that cover this topic but it was still an interesting and enjoyable book and I would recommend it. Keep in mind that this is not a diet book, it is a memoir and the author's personal experience is what made it interesting. In my opinion there are better books out there that cover this topic but it was still an interesting and enjoyable book and I would recommend it.
