Very funny in the uniquely Italian style. Many subtle comedic touches and dialogue that are easy to miss the first time around reward careful additional viewing. Well done at all levels.

A very funny mockery of a noir/ crime film genre. One has to miss much of the film in order to read all of the subtitles, which is a shame because there are many nice realist imagery in the film.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this movie, it started off a bit slow, but it turned into a great twist on a caper plot. Some pretty funny moments and real characters, not just cliches.

Really quite funny and really quite rewarding. Italian social realism- think The Bicycle Thief as done by Charlie Chaplin, if Chaplin had never discovered pathos.
