Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett - what a magnificent pairing of authors. This book is hilarious and ridiculous, and after reading it, I am definitely planning on watching the TV mini-series that was just released. The narrator for the…

Another case of "I should not have read all the reviews". I enjoyed this book but it just didn't live up to the hype. I originally wanted to read this so I could watch the show and understand what everyone on tumblr was obsessing over.…

One of the funniest books ever written and a wonderful audio book read by the great Martin Jarvis. Armageddon is coming. The armies of Heaven and Hell are gathering. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have saddled up (on motorcycles,…

Friends have been telling me for years that this is one of the funniest books ever written—and I found out they were right. The audio book is a total delight. Martin Jarvis is considered one of England’s great voice actors and he is…

Gaiman rarely disappoints and his partnership with Pratchett was delightful. This was quite the romp and would make a delightful television series along the line of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

This book was truly amazing! Funny and terrifying at the same time. If you get a chance to read it, I highly recommend listening to the audiobook. Martin Jarvis did an exquisite narration of this thrilling tale. 😈 😇

After hearing about this book for years, I finally picked it up after hearing a BBC TV adaptation is being made with an all star cast. It's Gaiman and Pratchett at their best, in my opinion. I would add that the narrator did an excellent…

With the announce of an upcoming mini-series, this is a good call back! This novel by Pratchett and Gaiman brings a hilarious twist to the apocalypse, and accents this with a diverse cast of characters from Heaven, Hell, and Earth. This…

Who knew the end of the world could be so entertaining? With humor and an unlikely cast of characters, this book is one of those that I just couldn't put down. The voices used in the audio version are fantastic, but the use of voice…

Funny, somewhat irreverent, cleverly written book about the machinations between the forces of good and evil prior to the end of the world. The reader for the audiobook is very good too!

It's weird - given how much I love Gaiman and Pratchett's solo works - that I didn't like this book more. It's certainly funny, I'll give it that, but overall, there just isn't much to it. This wouldn't be a problem, except the story's…

I'm much more a fan of Pratchett than Gaiman (though he did pen 1 of my all-time favorite Doctor Who episodes --«The Doctor's Wife» series 6). Having said that, I must say it's not Pratchett's best, but seems more heavily influence of…

The narrator of this audio book is superb. The characters voices are unique and well-defined, and the narrator is pitch-perfect for Gaiman and Pratchett's brand of humor and satire. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you enjoy Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchett, well, you've probably already read this book and my review means nothing really. It is hilarious and one of the best fantasy novels out there. Fans can attest to that fact and will with much…
