Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini is a story about 16-year-old Helen Hamilton, who resides on an island called Nantucket with her father. Helen had always tried to hide how different she was, and it had been working. Until a wealthy…

This was a great book playing on the ancient greek themes of the past. I do believe adults and even men would love this book, as I did.

Romance, fantasy, intrigue - this book has a little of everything! It is a modern day retelling of Greek mythology, set on the small island Nantucket. What's even better? It is a trilogy.

I really enjoyed this book. It references the Trojan way by bringing in the reincarnation of characters Like Helen of Troy and Paris. It made me want to read the Iliad and the Odyssey just for more context!

This book is good, but there are still a lot of minor flaws. Like, the author should really come up with a better reason to keep Helen and Lucas away from each other. The sibling thing is not very original; the Mortal Instruments uses it…

I enjoyed this book right up until the end. It is similar to Rick Riordan's series about Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Just a lot more romance focused.

One of the best book I've read all summer! I really enjoy Greek mythology and legends; I've read all the Percy Jackson books to date. Same pull, but clearly a more mature and girl oriented series.

I really loved this book. The beginning was slow at first and the author kept us in the dark for a long while but I was really hooked. If you liked the Greek mythology of Percy Jackson but preferred if it had more romance, this is your…

I was reluctant when I first started this book, but after the first few chapters, I was completely engrossed. This reimagining of the Greek pantheon is so amazing and clever that I am equally excited to read the next book as I was with…

I liked this book. It's YA and what you would expect. I enjoyed the entire cast of characters. I appreciated that we got to make discoveries along with the characters in the book. It was an incredibly easy book to get through without…

This book was pretty good, better than I was expecting it to be anyway. Sort of like Percy Jackson and the Olympians except for slightly older readers. I refuse to believe that they are cousins. :(
