This book is incredibly SLOW. One of the main characters (Aphenglow) is also incredibly STUPID. Really you have had two attempts on your life (and had to be saved both times) but you are STILL going to hide from your hired bodyguard????…

First book I ever read by Terry Brooks. I liked it a lot, already on the last book of the series.

The first in what promises to be another solid Shannara trilogy. Every time I read a Shannara book I'm tempted to re-read the whole set. I'm just that fond of them.
