Add a CommentI love Carolyn Mackler's work and I thought I would read this book. I loved it. The big surprise at the beginning is that Mara and Vivian are so close in age, and that they're total opposites, but they realize that they aren't so different in the end. You really see Vivian's personality change throughout the book, which I found interesting. And Mara became a bit more fearless, which was nice. Amazing book :)
This book is very interesting in many ways. Its full of different emotions, like one time its sad, than anger, than happiness. Its a special book. When I started reading this book it started out a bit boring but than I kept with the book and it just got interesting and interesting. :D

This is a good book and the second one is fantastic too. Interesting characters and a well paced plot equals an all around nice YA novel.
