I love Bethany Hamilton! I love her story. I thought it was a wonderful true story about her getting back on the board and keep trying. Nice job Bethany!
Although I haven't read the book, I saw the movie. One of the best things about the movie is that, as you see with the home video footage they show during the credits, they took actually moments (example: Bethany's brother helping her put her hair up) and re-filmed it with the actors. Bethany Hamilton is so inspirational! If you just heard about her, you mightnot even believe it was true. It's amazing what happened to her, and how well she recovered. Go Bethany!

Soul surfer is a very inspirational book and I reccomend this to every girl (and boy)
I loved this book. Bethany is one of my role models- she's an amazing Christian girl! Yes, it's the same as the movie but has all the brilliant Christian stuff! I love Bethany's story- it's amazing and it inspires me! I'm reading this again (I've read it many times before the movie too) and looooove it! It has been reprinted so that there are new pictures and stuff... Great. The thing I DONT like is that it's not Bethany on the cover. :P
It was an amazing book, really inspiring. If you've seen the movie it's nice to be able to dig deeper into Bethany's story while reading it and hearing about how they did the movie!! If you haven't seen the movie i encourage you to it's REALLY amazing!!!
This is such an amazing and inspirational story!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never met a girl as strong as Bethany Hamilton!!!!!!!!! <3 If I lost my arm in a shark attack while surfing, I'd never have the courage to go surfing again..............ever! She's such a role model! =)
absolutely loved this book..I got it, started reading and didnt put it down..what she went through and the outcome of her story was amazing..I can't wait to see the movie..I highly recommend this book to everyone..it was very inspirational..
