Is it bad that I like reading this book more like a novel? I think in addition to the many great recipes to teaching how to cook has been just as fun to read. I will continue to read this book lots!
I have the previous edition. It is interesting to see how many entries are added, dropped, or changed between editions. This has more current trend type recipes and a few less "classics." This is my favorite "Go To" cookbooks when I want to try something that I haven't done before. I appreciate having spice blends broken down so I don't have to buy a bottle of blended spices.
If I were only aloud to cook from one cookbook for the rest of my life, this would definitely be it. All the basics of everything you could ever want to cook are here.
