Add a CommentGreat story! I appreciated the author's efforts in staying true to Romanian folklore, without all the Dracula stuff. An entertaining read.
This book was amazing!! I couldn't put it down until I found out the end! Some of the plot twists were a bit obvious towards the end (eg. True identity of Gogu), but all the characters were believable - Cezar wanted to make me jump in the book and murder him! ;) Overall, an amazing book, I would recommend it to anyone!
This book was amazing. I very much enjoyed reading it and I am off to get more Juliet Marillier's books!
This book was cute :D recommend it to anyone who enjoys fairytales :D
Charming retelling of the folktale "The 12 Dancing Princesses". Set in Romania and incorporating much of that cultural milieu, it's a great read wtih strong female characters.
