Fascinating! For one who hasn't seen a lot of footage of Nixon, this interview is The Way to be introduced! The setting is as intimate as one could ever expect for a canny and uncomfortable character like Nixon, and the complexity of his personality comes through beautifully and awkwardly. The footage on this disc represents 1 of 5 aired segments which covered other topics besides Watergate. While I often find David Frost's bearing to be pompous, he is in very good form during the interview - clearly nervous, but pressing Nixon in a manner that is both tactful and unrelenting.
