Add a CommentNot as enjoyable as its predecessor, 28 Days Later, but different enough to warrant a viewing. The opening scene is a stand-out in the "series".
i dont blame him i would do the same thing
I really liked 28 DAYS Later and had some small hope that this movie would be as good. It wasn't. More or less a glorified zombie action movie. Not as bad as some, but not as good as many. The acting was ok. The efffects were ok. There was nowhere near the emotion or character depth as in 28 Days Later. It wasn't a complete loss, but was a very poor sequel.
In the first film (28 Days Later) you desperately cared about the characters and their survival but in this one you can't wait for them to die. It's hard to care about fictional characters when the movie is so contrived. This movie falls victim to the perils of sequels. This is just a big sensless feeding frenzie that makes the first one look like Art by comparisson. The best part of this film is the very begining but it doesn't live up to the hype. Spoiler Alert-- All of the Death and Mayhem in this movie is the fault of the stupid kids.
Enjoyable zombie movie but there are big plot holes.
