Add a CommentThis book was awesome right now my favorites are immortal and betrayal because they are interesting. Well i HAVE TO SAY THIS BOOK IS ROMANTIC.
AWESOME , EPIC, and SO ROMANTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last 50 pages almost make up for slogging through the first 200. The concept is good, but the author relies way too heavily on the old diary to move the "secret" along, and as a result the main "secret" is totally obvious. Seriously, does the author think that readers are so stupid as to not make the connection between "S" and "Sebastian"? It follows the often-used paranormal romance model in which a normal girl tries to uncover the mystery about a hot guy who clearly isn't what he seems. But in this case, the mystery is too obvious because of the diary. The pacing is also super-slow and none of the characters are particularly well-developed. You've got a group of generic "mean popular girls", a generic hot guy and a generic shy girl. However, the paranormal mythology of the book is good and unique. And the heroine gets pretty good by the end of the book.
I really liked this book! The dilemma with loving Sebastian and what he will become seemed like a better way to create drama in a story. Versus just plain drama where a girl or boy is suspecting cheating or something lame like that. I can't wait to read the next books!
This a wonderful book. Love it more when Evie had first met Sebastian in the rain.
to me this book wasn't the best ...i've read better and the romance was weird you couldn't tewll if s relly loved her or not
I thought the book was very good
im mad i actually read the first 150pages. this book was so hard to get thru up til then, no way am i reading the rest of the book. and tis coming from someone who refuses to put a book down after i've started it. i just can NOT finish this book
This book was actually better than I expected. Perhaps it was just me, but I was hooked from the beginning, and it brought me through the more boring sections. Although the plot was highly predictable from the beginning, I still found myself reading until the end. All in all, you'll find me reading the sequel.
this is a epic book!!!
