Add a CommentThis has become my new favourite Terry Pratchett piece (even though it is a co-authorship). Martin Jarvis does a fantastic job with the reading. It was quite enjoyable!
If you enjoy Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchett, well, you've probably already read this book and my review means nothing really. It is hilarious and one of the best fantasy novels out there. Fans can attest to that fact and will with much jubilation. I decided to review the audiobook because I found it much funnier being read than reading it. CAUTION: Parts of it are so funny, you'll pretty much crack up wherever you happen to be. If it's in public, you may look a bit crazy, so maybe just in the car. If you car has tinted windows...
Funny thing happend on the way to the Apocalypse.
The end is nigh. Horsepersons waiting impatiently at the gate. Which is quite the pickle for demon Crowley and angel Aziraphale, who have grown to very much enjoy life on Earth. Gaiman and Pratchett joined forces to create a fantastical story that will leave you smiling and satisfied. If you enjoy end-of-days plots and also hilariousness, well then this is the perfect read for you.
