Wimpy Columbus is afraid of his own shadow, while Tallahassee is the biggest, baddest, gun-toting zombie-slayer who ever lived. When they meet two sisters, Wichita and Little Rock, the four strike out for an amusement park that is said to be zombie-free. This mismatched group will have to rely on each other to survive, which could be worse than surrendering to the zombies.

Summary
Add a SummaryThis is one of my favorites of 2009 I saw it free online then watched when it came out on dvd. Iwasn't for a long time a fan of the twinkie but I've been eating them lately. I really like the new banana ones. I STILL LOVE THOS CHOCODILES ! ! ! !
The horror comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying' bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

Pretty funny. Also just plain old fun to watch. !st. saw on line for free ....10/6/09 Thank you internet.
Columbus: The first rule of Zombieland: Cardio. When the zombie outbreak first hit, the first to go, for obvious reasons... were the fatties.
Wichita: Let's play the quiet game. Columbus: I've actually been meaning to ask you, have you been to Columbus, because I've been trying to... Wichita: Have you never played the quiet game?

Add a CommentDuh! Here's a frickin' horror movie that's so dumb that, instead of fleeing from the blood-lusting zombies, its idiot characters deliberately drive towards the biggest congregation of them, and all for the sake of playing on amusement park rides. Sheesh!_____ From my perspective, I'd say that the writers of this unscary/unfunny rubbish must've run out of any worthwhile ideas roughly 7 minutes into the story._____ With a title like "Zombieland" this film should've been literally overloaded to the max with vast swarms of flesh-eating zombies, everywhere. But until our team of despicable, one-dimensional characters (I absolutely hated the "Twinkie" lovin' redneck, Tallahassee) made it to LA, I counted, pehaps, 6 measly zombies gunned-down in all._____ This film lapsed far too often into a mode of sheer boringness due to the lack of some lively zombie action. And as a final insult, asswipe actor, Bill Murray (looking like death warmed over) was introduced into the story and his cringe-worthy toadying was enough to make any thinking person sick to their stomach.
Tallahassee should be the guiding moral compass for the majority of America. It'd be a better nation that way.
Haha, if only this was real life...
First hour or so is brilliant. When the romance kicks in it gets bad.
I like the movie and at the same time I don't like the movie. It was entertaining.
A scary good zombie comedy. Mixes gore and humor into a potent brew which both spoofs zombie films and is a pretty great one in itself.
A great zombie movie. Woody Harelson is perfect as Tallahassee.
I don't know why people may like this movie, but for me Its not something I would what to watch, really boring movie.
It's a zombie movie, you have to take it for what it is. And - when it comes to zombie movies, this is one of the absolute BEST! LOVED it! Laughed, cried, cringed a bit. Great fun!
I normally really don't like zombies but this was a good movie
