Cherry Darling meets up again with her old lover, El Wray, just as their Texas town is being overrun by "sickos" with festering sores turning them into zombies. Cherry has El Wray's jacket, which she took with her when she left and he keeps trying to explain how he looked for it for two weeks and she keeps interrupting his story. Gun-legged Cherry and one-man wrecking crew El Wray try to save the world from a horde of flesh-eating zombies.

WAIST OF TIME, ITS A TERRIBLE MOVIE.
Filmed in the "grindhouse" fashion with intentionally bad plot and overacting. Ungodly amount of gore. Some really disgusting scenes. The dialogue I loved from Deathproof was NOT present in this. However, the movie made up for it in over-the-top action. The action and gore made this extremely watchable and entertaining. This is the "horror" companion to Machete.
Ha,ha,ha,ha. While watching this movie i thought of my past traveling to 42nd street and seeing all those movies with people that smoked pot, cigarettes, dranked beer, and constantly talked back to the screen. The way this movie was edited remind of those days complete with cigarette burns and scratches on the screen. I enjoyed watching this movie on my HOMETHEATER. The best sounds are mostly with the "Death Car", as it crashes and kills it's passengers while the driver lives to drive another day. There is also a great car chase that has good sound. I also enjoyed the lovely ladies. Especially Sydney Poitier in those seriously cut up shorts, Rose McGowan, and Rosario Dawson. But all the ladies in this movie are all eye candy and the action is great. I give this movie 4 and a half stars. For action packed women, good story, and very good car chase, and Kurt Russell as the driver. Popcorn, franks on a bun, and icecream.
Disappointed. The movie could be better. Too much gore.
Quite the gory romp, replete with odd ball performances and snappy, Tarantino-polished dialogue. This is the perfect example of a movie that would divide opinions even within like-minded groups of friends: you'll either dig it, or not. But, if you have the morbid curiosity to find out how a one legged stripper can save civilization, check it out today! PS Almost worth watching for the infamous fake trailer for "Machete" that inspired the feature length movie released subsequently.
Great movie!!! When I first saw the preview, it looked sort of comical. I was blown away! The movie is action-packed and filled with memorable characters like Cherry Darling, El Wray, and Dr. Dakota Block!
