i didnt know what to expect when i picked up the book but when i was done reading it i was glad i did. It was definately a fun read.

The way Sammi's personal feelings and thoughts about islam and how others percieve it with a negative or positive light was very well written. I like that he matures thoughout the book with all the walls of security go down and what the brush of hatred can do to an individual due to their race, religion, etc. Yet, I personally thought it a bit to quick for some of the exeptence from the mother and what the friends did to aid Sammi to find out what was happening to his father.

I loved this book!! It really make you think about how actions really effect everyone. the author chose some of the greatest characters. It was as if I was part of the story but nobody would listen to me.

This was a really good book! The scenes at Sami's school always seemed so real and the scene where (SPOILER ALERT!) the FBI came scared me so much :P I really liked how Allan Stratton handled the topic. 4.5/5

This was a hilarious, serious, and meaningful book. The main character Sami expresses his view on Islam, which is surprising to some, but actually very common among some young muslim teenagers. The injustice and trials that Muslim children face growing up in islamophobic societies was deeply explored. i loved that Sami eventually embraced his religion. overall, really great book.

This was a fast paced exciting book and I really liked it. I also liked how there was a different culture and how it was written.
