Add a CommentThis book had great writing and solid characters. However, the idea has been done plenty of times before and if I must say, better by some. I would have liked this book a lot more if the idea was more original.
GREAT read. I love the twist that was this book creates for the stereotypical vampire story. The idea of a vampire-turned-human is original on its own and also the idea of older vampires having other abilities was a nice touch. This is the type of read I love because not only is the plot interesting and not your typical vampire or love story but it creates a sort of alternate train of thought that was so hard to put down. I would definitely recommend this.
Much better than I thought it would be! It does jump back and forth from past to present pretty often, which was distracting at first, but it wasn't so much that I didn't enjoy the book. Fans of Vampire Academy should check it out.
There are no simple words to sum up just how amazingly beautiful Infinite Days was. The story featured a protagonist, who was uniquely a vampire-turned-human, which i found was incredibly original. The atmosphere and the characters were so well developed, and the entire book was very mature. Even the language used was so lyrical, poetic and inspired. This book explored the characteristics of humanity, and it taught just how much we may take for granted, such as a breath of fresh air or the feeling of grass on our bare feet. An inspiringly sweet and sorrowful story.

Another book with a great twist on vampires. Some of it was quite unbelievable but at the end it all made sense. Rebecca Maizel totally captured Lenah transition to the 21 century funny and quirky. Looking forward to book number 2
I was actually kind of impressed by the maturity of this book. I really just expected your average teen vampire fluff, but this book offers you a little more. I think that the first-person perspective of 16-year old Lenah Beaudonte is appropriately mature for a vampire of 600 years.
