I liked this movie. The special FX was tastefully done with great plot.
This held my interest. It starts off with a good premise - then the last 2/3 of the film is the standard chase between the bad guys and the good guys. The ending was somewhat unsatisfying.
Timothy Oliphant pretty much just needs a hat, a gun and a badge to be permanantly attached to his body. I didnt realize this was a remake. I think I'll try to catch the origional even though this was very good. Doesn't really do anything new with the whole infected vs uninfected survivor horror theme, but does it well.
great movie for a friday or saturday night suspense at every moment of the movie at some points, it is almost funny very ironic and funny ending
George Romero's 1973 cult classic was an amazing film, so when I saw there was a remake being made I was not pleased. I was wrong to be upset as this movie was very good. The film wastes little time building up to the first outbreak of insanity. Overall, The Crazies has enough action and gore to satisfy horror movie fans, but is also clever enough to separate it from most other modern horror remakes. I highly recommend this movie!
Fairly entertaining. Not scary.
Really well done with lots of suspenseful and intense moments and great acting.
A really good thriller/horror movie. It reminded me of a cross between Outbreak or Quarantine and Dawn of the Dead. I really liked the first half of the movie especially, it was quite scary and unique in the build up. Once it gets going though it reverts to some typical horror cliches. I also thought that the movie was a bit inconsistent with the 'rules' for the infected (but that's just me because I'm a sucker for zombie type movies).
Good initial premise...ending fails to deliver.
