Add a CommentUGH THIS BOOK WAS PERFECT! I loved it SOOOO much! Ironically, I loved it because it was so realistic (despite it being fantasy). All the characters are extremely relatable (ok maybe except the mermaids) and they can be discussed for hours! My friend and I had a full on argument about Cecily, whether she was a cute and nice good girl or a total and horrible brat that deserves punishment. Also the mom and the aunt are very deep despite their being shown as weak and mean (respectively). The only thing that I didn't like about the book is that the main character seemed to have no dignity or pride what-so-ever. She let everyone walk all over her and she took it. Despite the book saying that she got over it in the end....um no...no she didnt.
Such a good book!!! All my friends have read it and we all love it
it was great. different form all the other fantasy book out there. i LOVED it :) i couldn't put it down. i hope the author comes out with more! :)
