Summary
Add a SummarySophie McGee was a normal junior in high school. Well that was until a new group of students showed up, Vlad and his "friends" are enigmas they're garbed in clothing straight out of a Victorian wardrobe. What's even queerer is that her childhood frenemy James Hallowell's back in town. But what's his relation to Vlad and his cronies. Guess it's time to accept: high school's not gonna ever be the same.

Add a CommentI like the way James is like a caring friend but at the same time a loving guy. The story has a nice edge to it by having James be the childhood friend of Sophie, differing the book from Twilight.
Definitely not your typical vampire kind of book. If you want to read something more unique than any cliche vampire book you've ever read, read this.
Loved how the book had a new take on vampires. I liked how the side characters were just as three-dimensional as the main character, as some books don't have that.
Interesting book, it doesn't follow the ridiculously cliche plot lines that many other vampire novels adhere to. It debunks many of the preconceived vampire stereotypes. A good read for those wanting to escape from the world of shininess.
Seems like your typical teenage vampire novel at a glance, but was surprisingly good :) I'd like to see a sequel
Read a preview…was great:)
