Add a CommentWonderful sense of setting: Yaleylah is surrounded by ominous forests and studded with one very creepy graveyard. As Silla and Nick learn more about the magic they've inherited, they also encounter an old and angry force that can possess bodies at will. Intense creepiness and lovely prose will broaden the appeal of this book from the normal paranormal romance brand; Blood Magic is true horror and is truly a standout read.
Great book! The subject is nothing new but the characters are amazingly real and true, they really make the story tick. It's nothing too sappy or depressing, just real even with a little blood here and there
druscilla and nick and reece...witches...alot of going back and forth between nick and silla
This book is about magic with the usage of blood. This book is similar in concept to many paranormal romantic books. I don't think the plot or story is original. If you read the Beautiful creature trilogy then you will get what I mean. It's not a bad book to read, but just that it drags too long and gives too much unnecessary information. I wouldn't read it twice, but I would definitely read the trilogy.
beautifully written. exotic "blood magic" romantically sweet, and a dark twist of nature. a must read!
