This is one of Margaret Peterson Haddix's stranger books, I think. I mean I love all her books, this one included, but the whole "academics and sports are switched" concept is...weird. Somehow, Haddix pulls it off and makes it realistic and believable. Good book, a bit sad and depressing at the end.

This book was a little slow at first, but it got really good. It was a great book, as are all of Margaret Peterson Haddix's.
