Add a CommentI've read all the Dick Francis novels, and I think the hero is always a decent man who goes up against great odds and wins due to his courage and intelligence. When there is a romantic interest, it may take place without marriage, but not with one of them being married to someone else. Dick Francis usually reserved adulterous behavior for the villains. Seems like his son doesn't have the same standards.
