easy reading... but somehow this one was slightly different - I don't remember Lance (the gay next door neighbour) every playing mean tricks on Jaine before.

I couldn't finish this book. I found the main character to be too stereotypical and predictable and thoroughly unlikable. It was like reading a Cathy cartoon.

Laura's character's are real, likeable and believable. They are alive.
Jayne is a funny, witty, fully developed and easily loveable character. She's not the typical barbie-mold romance heroine that we've come to see and expect. She is a real woman that us women can relate to as well as easily follow along in her adventures. I love Jayne and Laura, keep up the great work. Thank you for the enjoyable read.

Completely predictable, but it’s such a fun romp that I didn’t even mind. Love the ongoing e-mails between Jaine and her parents, detailing the war between Daddy-O and his neighbor Lydia (Stinky) Pinkus.
