If you are strongly dogmatic about your religion, you will probably find this book sacriligious. If you are like me and strongly religious but curious and very aware of how little we actually know of God and Heaven, you might just enjoy this look at the hereafter. All that we know of Heaven, we have intuited since only one person came back from there. This is Williams' interpretation of what might be happening. Fun.

Quite a fast-paced book that kept me turning the pages - surprisingly, because I've only read the 'Otherland' series from him so far, which was rather lengthy. The main protagonist, supposedly an angel fighting on the Good side, investigates the disappearance of souls. His very un-angel-like behaviour is not very consistent with the premise of the book, but a very good read anyway.

If you are strongly religious (Christianity or Islam) you will, probably, find this book sacriligious. Humans becoming angels and helping the judgement of the just deceased!!! Basically a mystery with coverup story.
