Add a CommentQuite a fast-paced book that kept me turning the pages - surprisingly, because I've only read the 'Otherland' series from him so far, which was rather lengthy. The main protagonist, supposedly an angel fighting on the Good side, investigates the disappearance of souls. His very un-angel-like behaviour is not very consistent with the premise of the book, but a very good read anyway.
If you are strongly religious (Christianity or Islam) you will, probably, find this book sacriligious. Humans becoming angels and helping the judgement of the just deceased!!! Basically a mystery with coverup story.
