This was a very fast read. It was funny, sad, and a hundred emotions at once. I would recommend this to anyone who would bother listening to me. And this book has me wanting to try a day of silence, not a vow like Chelsea's but a day. April 19 to be exact. Anyone reading this: read speechless!

Ok, so the synopsis echoes Speak. So much so that I kept imagining Kristen Stewart for Chelsea. But, Speechless takes some turns that keeps the story current. There are a couple of unanswered questions, but overall a good teen read. And, a great cover that doesn't feature a faceless girl.
