I really liked the end to this series. For once it felt final and full of hope. That's how the end should always be.

I really loved this book and i can't wait to read the one about Ridley

i don t really like it

Honestly, I think this was the worst book in the whole series. It got better after the middle, but the beginning to me was quite boring. It really didn't reach my expectations.

Great end to an amazing series! I actually enjoyed seeing things from Lena's point of view.

Dark, teen romance stories have been done over a hundred times ever since the popularity of Twilight. And trust me when I say I am kind of getting tired of it. But when I started reading the Caster Chronicles I could not put it down. It seemed different than the usual cliché teen novels. The book is about where it left off, with Ethan sacrificing his life to bring order to the caster and mortal world. Throughout the book we see Ethan trekking through the afterlife in order to get to his girlfriend Lena. Before you read this book, I suggest reading the other books as a lot has happened since this very book. Well what I can say about this book is that the action starts later on. It definitely starts off with a lot of sadness and angst respectfully. But I did have a bit of an issue with the plot. Usually with books in the fantasy genre, the plot is the “save the world” sort of plot. But in this book it felt like saving the world was more of a secondary thought and the biggest thing the characters worry about is getting Ethan back. Which could be understandable considering we are reading it in Ethan and Lena’s point of view. But I kind of wished they would realize there is a world for them to save first. Speaking of the characters, I still adore Ethan and Lena’s characters but a part of me loved the side characters more. Characters like Ridley, Link or Macon would get me a bit more interested to what they were doing instead of the main character. In this book we get to explore more into the caster world but at times it could get a bit crazy. Although it is definitely unique to many other fantasy worlds I’ve read about. The title Beautiful Redemption is referring to the constant use of the word Beautiful in the series’ book titles. And by Redemption it is talking about Ethan’s journey to trying to return to the land of the living. Whether you’re looking for a book with unique world building or for a unconditional romance, I’d say you should definitely read Beautiful Redemption.

“Maybe there isn't a meaning to life. Maybe there's only a meaning to living.” A great way to sum it up what this book is all about. Unlike the previous three books, "Beautiful Redemption" has a goal in mind to end the journey of those beautiful creatures, and through Ethan's afterlife experiences tell us the importance of living and being alive. The ending couldn't be more perfect and heartbreaking! I was dreading the moment when my fingers finally flip to the last page, it would mean the end...the end of everything that truly make this a beautiful series. And when I did reach the last page, I took a deep breath and cried like a baby. All Ethan ever wanted was to escape his small home town, Gatlin, but it was only from dying that he realize home is where the heart is. It begins with one fact: Ethan Wate is dead. He sacrificed his own life in order to save the world and all the people he loves . Now, he wakes up in the Afterlife where everything remains the same except the residents "living" there are all dead. While his heart aches for Lena and Amma, Link and his father, he know he made the right decision. And it didn't hurt when he could see his mother again, being dead does have its perks. But nothing is worth it compared to the excruciating pain of knowing that his body is buried somewhere under dirt and mud and that his loved ones could never see him again, even when he was right beside them. Things took a turn for the unexpected when Ethan founds out what happened to him wasn’t supposed to happen. Someone had changed his fate. He was never supposed to be the one to right the wrongs and fix the Order of Things, he never had to die. Suddenly it was clear, he has to return to Gatlin, whatever it takes, he will find a way home. And so begins Ethan’s final quest with the hopes of returning to his love. With the help of everyone, dead and alive, mortal and casters, good or evil, Ethan will fight his way back to the one place where he never thought he'd missed, Gatlin. Let me start off by saying, I had never expected for a book about magic and witches, ahem I mean casters, to have such a deep conclusion novel focusing on death and the brilliance of living. Sometimes, we take living for granted and even wish for death so casually on daily basis. But have we ever thought about what it would be if we are actually dead? Ethan take us through his eyes on a tour of the Afterlife, even the smallest things remind him of the life he had, his life in Gatlin. I won't spoil anything, so I'm just going to say that the end is bitter sweet teaching everyone a lesson about treasuring every second that you are alive. I like both of the main characters, but it is the supporting characters that I absolutely adore! Link and Ridley are amazing in every way, Amma is such a motherly figure who brings a smirk to my face every time she scolds Ethan, and even newcomer Xavier has warmed his way towards my heart. The word "Beautiful" relates to its previous books' titles, and the word "Redemption" tells us the prices Ethan has to pay to find happiness. Nothing is more sad than when a good series come to an end. Goodbye, I will miss you!

This was a good book with a very interesting story line. I did feel at times that there were holes in the story and the authors were trying to get the series finished while keeping the book at a similar page count at the previous books in the series. If you are reading the story because you love the romance between Lena and Ethan skip it, they barely have 25 pages together. But if you are truely interested in the fantasy world of this series this is a rich addition to the others and a much easier read than the third installment.

ETHAN WATE : In the final novel of the Beautiful Creatures series, Ethan Wate is dead. And only a handful of people know the truth. Amma and the others who know that he is in the Otherworld, are keeping his passing a secret. He finds his mother when he wakes up in the Otherworld. Ethan Wate must find out how to cross into the Mortal World. He must see Lena again, even if she can't see him. But when Ethan learns that he can go home, back to the Mortal World, he will do anything in order to get it. LENA DUCHANNES : When Ethan asks her to get him The BOok of Moons, Lena has no idea why. When she finds out she can help bring Ethan back, she will do all she can to get it back from Abraham. When she gains control of the book, Lena will need all her family's help, Light or Dark, to get the book to Ethan. This is Ethan's only hope to live again.

A romantic book. Based on Southern roots, and paranormal fiction. I would recommend it for ages 13 and up. But before you read this awesome book you have to read Beautiful Creatures, Beautiful Darkness, and Beautiful Chaos. They are all great books and couldn't put any of them down!
