Add a CommentOk. So I love James Rollins. This is not his best work. The characters are not all that relatable. And it's a vampire story. I thought that fad had finally run its course. That said, I'll still read the next one.
Great premise and set-up for a good story, the ending was disappointing. Seems like this is only part 1 of a long series.
Not being a fan of fantasy fiction or supernatural tales, I thought I might not enjoy this one. I was totally wrong. Good read. The story flowed smoothly and had enough action and suspense to keep me reading. 4*'s for fantasy fiction lovers.
I loved this book and hope for a sequel. Fast paced and enough action to keep me interested.
Not his usual standard. Too much gratuitous violence and loose ends...shaggy dog style!
Good story but different than the other Rollin's books I've read. Book has it's ups and downs and very little filler. Quick read.
never got to finish due to speed read but what i did i enjoyed
