Read author note; quite impressive.

I'm sorry but nerowolfgal, you need to check things out before opening your mouth. Might be an interesting author after more experience? Have you any idea who Kevin Anderson is and what he has done? This isn't his first novel by far. All you have to do is look at the back inside dust cover and you find he's written over a hundred novels. Your ignorance is showing. None of that means anything as far as how good or bad this novel is. Just educate yourself the next time you decide to offer up your opinion. An opinion based upon inaccuracte data is worthless.

Not badly written, but very obvious where the story is going and beats the reader over the head with the "Meaning" of the story. Might be an interesting author after more experience.
