I don't know what made me pick up this book because I hadn't heard of it. I'm usually attracted to the art in a comic and this art turned me off at first. But I stuck with it and grew to enjoy the rough art. The words and art work well to draw one into the story. It sets a melancholic mood that's almost overwhelming. Underwater Welder is well done and I highly recommend it.
