Add a CommentI was unable to sink my teeth into this book but it has received so many solid reviews I would like to revisit it someday. I was such a huge fan of The Good Soldiers, Jarhead and The Last Journey and I was expecting the same experience with The Outpost. Outpost read more like a Congressional Report and I found myself stumbling along unable to find the heartstrings that tugged so strongly at me in The Good Soldiers.
