Intrigue, spying, resistance fighters behind enemy lines sabotaging the Nazis - this book has it all! While scientists in the United States race to build an atomic bomb before the Nazis do, resistance fighters target a vital power plant in Norway to sabotage the Nazi effort and the Soviet Union frantically tries to get spies inside the project to steal the plans. The story is true but it reads like a classic spy novel.

This is a great story, masterfully told. Excellent reporting and research. It reads like a thriller. You know how it ends ... it's history, after all. But you still can't put it down!

Great book for adults and teens alike
