Great for younger Teens. More mystery than romance. 'Emily Dickinson' makes a lively, determined young detective and readers will be encouraged to seek out her works.

Story of Emily Dickinson figuring out a mystery. Best thing about the book? It looks short. This book is NOT for the reluctant reader thou. Full of descriptive detail, it takes its time unfolding the actual mystery. I suppose since the book is about Emily Dickinson it makes sense that the wording is needlessly complex and poetic. If you enjoy history, you will love the accuracy. At end there is extra detail on Emily's life too.

"I'm nobody important." He grinned, revealing a mouth of straight teeth. "Who are you?"... "I'm nobody too." p.6
