Add a CommentWe read this to our first and third grade boys. I feel that I needed to explain a lot to them, and as the book was written in 1978, some phrasing was outdated, BUT they were able to keep up and enjoyed using their deductive reasoning skills to figure out "who dun it". I was equally captivated and tempted to finish it on my own after they went to bed many nights!
I remember reading this book when i was a child it was my favourite
This is agreat book! Its fabulas soo good! Beast book ever!!!!!!!!
this is my 3rd fav book! i love it!!! read it twice! (and thats saying something for me)=)
This is an amazing book. It has so many twist and turns that it is almost impossible to predict. It will keep you hanging on the largest cliff in the world. You'd wish there were a gazilion chapters...
This is one of my favorites from when I was in grade school. I still have my original copy, which now is held together with oodles of tape on the spine. It's a great mystery tale with lots of humor and a long list of wacky characters. Even though I know the ending, I still discover something new each time. Highly recommended for fans of the Lemony Snicket books, or adults who want to rediscover a fun J book.
This book is probably the best book I have ever read! It was incredible!
I read this book when I was in grade four and I still remember it! It was so much fun and so clever. This mystery really engages the reader and keeps them hooked and intrigued right through until the final pages!
