Her mother sends her to the outside world of 1995 to seek medical help for the dying children. Jessie wants nothing more than to help her neighbors back in her village, but what happens when everything in 1995 is too confusing and unfamiliar for Jessie to take? Will she be able to get the medical help she needs in time? Or will she get lost in the maze of futuristic technology?

Read this one a LONG time ago. But I loved it! great book =]
I absolutely loved this book when I was younger. It's one of the few books I've actually reread and still enjoyed as an adult.
