A unique, clever book that tells you the story from the villain’s point of view. Antihero Artemis is one of my favourite main characters and I would recommend at least giving this book a try.

I've read this book so many time that I've almost memorized the story. Even so it's an unforgetable book that anyone would enjoy. Sadly the last book in the series is releasing summer of 2012.It is title the Last Gaurdian.Oh and to all the Fowl Fans out there if you try to skip book 6 the Time Paradox you will regret it greatly.

artemis fowl is such agood book-- artemis himslef is such an interesting character. a twelve year old mastermind with the dialect of a much older genius. I recomend this one, although the sequels tend to loose the writing quality, I don't know if Eoin colfer originally intended for Artemis fowl to be a series. the first book stands on its own though. a great read!

I absolutely love this book! I've read it many MANY times and it's still a lot of fun. The characters are well... interesting and unique -- very intriguing! Although Artemis is only twelve years old in the novel, this is a trivial detail which is easily forgotten as you are drawn into the story! I highly recommend this book to anyone of any age who enjoys a mixture of magic, witty dialogue, and high-tech gadgets (these being only a few things that are great about the novel)! :D
