Black History Month: Soul Food with Chef LaKisha Harris

Description

Learn how to make some soul food with Chef LaKisha Harris.  Chef LaKisha will be coming to your kitchen through this Zoom program!  She will be preparing fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread.  A list of ingredients will be given ahead of time in case you want to cook along with Chef Harris! 

This free program will be held via Zoom. Online registration is required. Participants will be sent the Zoom link through e-mail on the day of the event.

Registration closes at 9 pm on Monday, February 14.

Chef LaKisha is the owner/chef of Soul Filled Eatery in Muskegon, Michigan.  Her love of cooking was developed under the tutelage of her mother who ran a highly successful catering company for 30 years.  Chef LaKisha demonstrates her most popular dishes on a local cooking show, Cooking with L'Soul.  People from all over the country come to Muskegon just to eat Chef LaKisha's turkey knuckles!
