Events › Poetry at Picchetti - Guided Hike

Celebrate Earth Day and National Poetry Month with this guided hike. Join your fellow poetry lovers as well as Docent Naturalists Mary and Susan from the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District at Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserve for a leisurely-paced walk that combines nature poetry and natural history. You’ll walk about three miles on a mostly gentle slope with pauses for poetry and a look at what nature presents that day. Participants are highly encouraged to bring poems they enjoy or have written to share with the group. Please bring a lunch for a stop along the trail.

Participants are required to sign a Midpen activity waiver at the beginning of the hike. Restrooms are available. No trash cans on site – pack it in and pack it out.

**Registration is required to participate in this event. Please register each individual who will be attending. Space is limited. Registration will close on April 18th.**
