Teens, do you want to make a difference in your community and learn real-life skills along the way? Join us for an engaging workshop designed to teach teens essential skills for preparing and responding to emergencies. Participants will learn how to build a disaster kit, create an emergency plan, and stay informed during a crisis. In addition to gaining life-saving knowledge, teens will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Red Cross youth programs in the Silicon Valley Chapter and how they can get involved in making a difference in their communities. Online registration is required.
For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event. If you need assistance with the form, speak with a staff member at your local library, call (408) 540-3945, or email us at ask@sccl.org.
