Celebrate Persian New Year

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Cupertino Library

Description

Join us for a lively and educational celebration of Persian New Year, or Nowruz. Enjoy traditional spring dances, including circle dances, and learn about the cultural significance behind these movements and their connection to renewal and community.

The program also explores the symbolism of Nowruz traditions, including the meaning of the holiday and the traditional seven‑symbol spread. This is a welcoming opportunity to learn, connect, and experience one of the world’s oldest celebrations of spring.

This program is part of Santa Clara County Library District's celebration of Silicon Valley Reads.
