Adult Book Discussion: The Husbands

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Cupertino Library

Description

In April the Cupertino LIbrary Book Discussion Group will talk about the comic novel The Husbands by Holly Gramazio (2024) For months, Lauren a single woman in her thirties has been coming home to a new, unrecognizable young man who claims to be her husband. In each case, she discovers his story seems to be true-the photos and texts in her phone all include him, yet each time she sends one of these husbands up to her attic, he is almost immediately replaced by a new "husband." And the content of her photos and her text logs change to show the new man, also. Bewildered and exhausted, Lauren wonders how she can possibly figure out which husband is the right man she truly wants to commit to?

The Cupertino Adult Book Discussion  meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 11am and the third Thursday evening at 7pm. All meetings are held in Room 201B. Adults of all ages are welcome. All meetings are sponsored by The Friends of the Cupertino Library.
