Virtual Author Talk: Nir Eyal

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Description

Nir Eyal’s Beyond Belief explores how the limits people experience are often psychological rather than physical, revealing how hidden assumptions shape perception, emotion, and action. Drawing on neuroscience, psychology, and striking real‑world examples, he introduces the Three Powers of Belief—Attention, Anticipation, and Agency—as tools for unlocking potential, spotting opportunities, and staying grounded and effective in moments of uncertainty.

The book examines why modern life can sabotage confidence, focus, and resilience, and offers a science-based system for replacing limiting beliefs with ones that support growth, persistence, and well-being. Through insights into mood regulation, performance, and the mind’s capacity to push beyond perceived boundaries, Eyal shows that many limits are learned and with the right beliefs, they can be rewritten.
