11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Cupertino Library

Description

This month, The Plot Thickens Mystery Book Discussion Group will talk about the 2025 mystery novel Dead Money by Jakob Kerr.

Weeks after the murder of Trevor Canon, founder and CEO of the hot transportation tech startup Journy, lawyer turned investigator Mackenzie Clyde joins the FBI investigation into Canon's murder at the order of her boss, Roger Hammersmith. Roger’s five billion dollar investment in Journy is now frozen by a last-minute provision in Canon’s will, and only finding and trying Canon’s killer can release the money. Only an executive member of Journy could have had the opportunity to kill Canon, and the only one of them without an airtight alibi has just disappeared…

The Plot Thickens Mystery Book Discussion takes place on the first Wednesday of every other month at 11 am. Adults of all ages are welcome. Sponsored by The Friends of the Cupertino Library,
