Creative Collective - A Club for Teens

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Saratoga Library

Description

Are you a creative teen that enjoys working with others in a low tech no tech setting? Interested in meeting other teens with creative talents? If so, this group is perfect for you. Attendees should be interested in creative projects and be comfortable working with various materials. Projects in the teen led club will be minimally advised to allow for creative expression. The initial meeting will open with an introductory social collage project. Later the group will vote between two projects at the first meeting. Project option 1: Create Your Own Enchanted/Cursed Object. Choose from random objects provided and create a magical origin story for it. Then embellish and bind a book with your story. Or Project Option 2: No Sew Cardboard Costuming. Create a costumed look for a character (character ideas provided) with cardboard/paper and your imagination.

Projects will span the length of multiple meetups depending on how the group is doing. More details at first meeting. Future projects can be decided on by participants. Joining at a later meeting? No problem. All new members get to make an introduction collage and will be fully included in the group and current project.
