Really great. Indiana is beautifully illustrated has a life of its own. And now I suddenly have much more appreciation/understanding of daily life in small town America.

This picaresque novel is as aimless as its protagonist. Fortunately, the author is so thoughtful with his turns of phrase that you may not be concerned that, in the end, you've been led nowhere.

This is a very good book. The author seamlessly splices irreverent wit with honest vulnerability, and produces an interesting episodic story. It shows that growing pains don't always remain behind in childhood.

delightful little read! if you didn't grow up in a cosmopolitan area and tried to live in/with/despite of your rural upbringing and loyalty, this book will hit all the right notes. highly recommended!

Smart, hilarious 'my first job' tale. Laugh-out-loud funny observations and one particularly backwoods section of Indiana. An easy read, but worth it any day!
