I loved this book right from the first pages. Great storyline and wonderful characters. I’m ready for the next book.

1st book in the cousins O'Dwyer trilogy. Love it and now am getting ready to read the next 2 books.

This prolific author seems comfortable regardless of genre. ‘‘Tis magic, yeah.

I was honestly disappointed. I figured if I was ever going to enjoy Nora Roberts, it was gonna be this. Alas, the characters are barely two dimensional and the pace is rushed. The characterization is, to me, unrealistic, and it has nothing…

My favorite part of all three books was during the 1200's, where she really connects. She wrote an earlier much better Irish, paranormal trilogy. This set was really just a single book, sadly weakened by spreading the story into a…

I loved this book. It was pure escapism for me. Iona was so positive and joyful and found acceptance so easily, I wish life could always be like that. The book was entertaining. Definitely want to read book 2.

This is the first book in a trilogy that combines two of Nora Roberts' favorite themes ... witches and Ireland. It focuses on Iona, an American who has come to Ireland to meet her distant cousins after a lifetime of haunting dreams, to…

This book was highly addicting. She's not your typical Nora Roberts lead female who is too strong for love. She knows what she wants and goes after it.

I had to give up because the protagonist made me wince. Utterly graceless.

agree with Liselara, below in OPL comments; an OK book on it's own, but written by Nora Roberts, it is just a tweaked trilogy family story repeated over and over in her books.

Read to synopsis on the front cover and took it out. Didn't expect it to be so 'witchy' but went with it and had a blast, so to speak, 'as mote it be', if you get my drift. Read the second and will await the third. It was fun. Am a fan…

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "Amazing read. One of the best books from Nora Roberts. As the title says, it's about witches but more than that it's about family, friends, belonging, and love."

This is another "witch fantasy". If you have never read Nora Roberts before, most likely you will enjoy this story but I feel like she is writing the same thing, over and over again. Clearly she must get paid an enormous amount of money…

Writing was messy, characters weren't engaging, plot was extremely slow... And the author tried SO hard to make the book sexy but it was simply awkward and uncomfortable for me. It definitely wasn't what I expected and I was very…

'Dark Witch' is the story of a young girl who moves to Ireland to meet her two cousins and learn about her family history. She is 'part of the three' who must be ever on their guard again the 'evil' that lurks in the fog.

Very unique and different story. Modern yet still has the old time feel to it. Likeable characters and storyline is interesting. Very impatient to start the second book hope to read it soon. Ending of the first book is not too cliffhanger…

This is my first ever to read book by Nora Roberts and I enjoyed it immensely! I can't wait for her other books in this series to come out.

This is the first Nora Roberts book I've tried, I liked it and will read the rest of the trilogy when it comes out. however I found the main character Iona To be a little silly and Not as confident as you like a main character to be.…

Not my favorite Nora Roberts title but it still has all the elements we love about Nora Roberts - love, friendship, suspense. I felt like she rushed the love story in this one, but I loved the Irish setting.

Not as good as others I've read by Nora Roberts. Similar to her other "witch" books. Not much of a story. Normally I can't wait for the second book to come out but for this trilogy I wonder whether it's worth reading the second book. …

Disappointing. Reads like previous novels by this author from characters, to setting, to plot. Even the dialogue seems to be recycled.
