VERY GOOD 2005 film peek into Mongolian family life/culture. Fun to see them riding those double humped camels...and lots more. Beautifully photographed, both Gobi desert and into Mongolian family huts, etc.

It was very interesting to watch this family interact with each other and their animals to watch their every day lives. If you want to get a glimpse into the lives of Mongolians then this is the film to watch!

This movie/documentary is showing incredibly beautiful people, the love they express in each of their day to day acts. Their dignity, wisdom, ... the way they manage with the camel,... it's all magical and deeply moving

The setting for this film is on the wide expanses of Mongolia. The photography is exquisiyte: you can’t miss with all this countryside. The dialogue, spare though it is, is in Mongolian and camel. The plot is even thinner. The star is a…

A remarkable documentary, I recommend it for both young families and those interested in Mongol culture in equal measure. It's truly amazing to see how traditionally the protagonists continue to live, although there is every evidence of…

This is a slow movie, but if you are curious about how life is in Mongolia's Gobi desert, or curious to see and hear lots of camels, including actually seeing a camel birth, it is a great show. Have a good luck at the ger (hut) in the…
