After reading the first story, “Variant”, I expected more from “Feedback”. Usually I enjoy reading suspense novels but “Feedback” was very predictable. “Variant” ended with a confusing cliffhanger and I was wondering what it could possibly be but, the answer left me disappointed. I feel like Robison Wells had a lot of potential to come up with a more original idea for the plot of “Feedback” and the truth of Maxfield Academy. “Feedback” also felt like it was a bit rushed with so many answers coming out so quickly. My questions were being answered but the answers weren’t satisfying and felt like empty answers. In “Variant”, the characters seemed like real people and you could sense that but in “Feedback”, it was like all of the characters were robots just trying to escape. The conclusion in “Feedback” was very unusual and to be honest, I wasn’t even sure what was happening. If you happen to read “Variant” and really want to know what happens, go head and read “Feedback” but it may leave you disappointed. Otherwise, I would not recommend reading this book. 2/5 stars.

Dull, unimaginative. Poorly developed characters. Main character's motivation is inconsistent and not particularly interesting. A wandering novel where very little actually happens. VERY PARANOID. Ending is cliche and unclear.

This book was not the conclusion I was looking for . It ended way too fast and seriously left me confused throughout. The first book was waaayyy better...

I thought this was a great conclusion to a wonderful series. It ends a bit fast, but you find out what happens to all the characters in the story. You really want them to win and come out on top.

obviously the first one was better and there were a FEW parts that confused me, but otherwise it was still good
