This book shows that if you put your trust in God, He'll see you through whatever issues you're going through.

While it doesn't have the best writing, it is a very good story about somebody who worked hard and sacrificed everything to achieve her dreams. Her love and faith in God is highlighted throughout the entire book, proving He can do some pretty incredible things! She is a great role model, and her book is a quick, easy read that is appropriate for any age, though some people may be annoyed with the constant 'Lol's sprinkled throughout the book.

Gabby Douglas, Olympic gymnast belonging to the group "Fierce Five", tells her story, from living in the back of an old Dodge van to standing on the Olympic podium, gold around her neck. She explains how God got her through everything in her life, including the day she decided to quit her gymnastics career. And, realizing that the most important gift of all, are the people that are with you every step of the way.

"Mom, who had taught me to use vision boards to keep my dreams right before my eyes, gave me Habakkuk 2:2 from the KJV (King James Version): 'Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.' And on my calendar, I started marking off the days - 195 more sunrises until the London Olympic Games."
