Why would anyone want a mission to protect a "famous rock band"? What is this, the "I" generation?

A teenage boy learning to be a secret agent in high school is suddenly sent active. His job is to protect a high-profile social-justice rock band on their Afghanistan tour, but it suddenly takes a turn towards breaking up a human trafficking ring. Kind of a fun read. Very engaging.
